Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray Sunday night formally anointed grandson Aditya into politics by presenting him a ceremonial sword as a crowd of over 200,000 cheered lustily.

A surprisingly robust and healthy looking Thackeray, accompanied by Aditya, arrived at the Shiv Sena Dussehra rally at the historic Shivaji Park grounds, even as his son and Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray wound up his 45-minute-long address.

First, the three generations of the Thackeray family garlanded a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji before Thackeray was escorted to his throne.

After the usual round of garlands, Aditya stood before him, clad in a simple blue kurta with sleeves rolled up to the elbows and dark trousers.

Thackeray handed his grandson a gleaming sword and touched his forehead, while Aditya bent and touched his feet. Thackeray also presented a bouquet of flowers to the 20-year-old.

Aditya then sought his father Udhavs blessings by touching his feet.

He then came forward on the stage, raised the sword and waved it to the cheering crowds, then bowed before the gathering and syumbolically sought their blessings.

Belying expectations, Aditya did not make a speech and the stage was left for his father and grandfather.

Flanked on his right by former leader of opposition in the state assembly Ramdas Kadam and on the left by ex-chief minister and former Lok Sabha speaker Manohar Joshi, Aditya sat throughout the two-hour function and listened attentively to the speeches of the two senior Thackerays.

In his 45-minute speech, Bal Thackeray said that Aditya had progressed in the party by his deeds and urged partymen to encourage and support him.

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi broke the silence of the sea by making his engagement to Bangalorean girl Priyanka Alva public. Once again, he has put an end to all the speculations on his wedding date by revealing it to the media.

Vivek Oberoi revealed that he would tie the knot with Priyanka in Bangalore on October 29. He said that he was always open to arranged marriage.

According to an article published in Mumbai Mirror regarding forced entry of Raja Chaudhary in Shweta Tiwari's home, it stated Abhinav Kohli as Shweta's boyfriend.

On Saturday October 16th afternoon when Shweta Tiwari's estranged husband, Raja Chaudhary tried forced entry into her Malad's house trying to see his daughter Palak, Shweta's mother called her boyfriend Abhinav Kohli. Abhinav accompanied her mother to the police station to lodge a complaint against the Bigg Boss Season 2 runner up, Raja Chaudhary.

Your eye care specialist is going to need to know exactly what happened and what type of object your eye was hit with. He or she will do an entire eye examination on your eyes including the visual acuity testing. Next, looking into your affected eye with a slit lamp which is a special microscope to what is going on within the eye structures etc. When the specialist looks back there, he may see something resembling a clot type that is within your anterior chamber of the eye. If the hyphema is small, it may appear in layers of your anterior chamber.

Another thing your doctor may see while looking closely is a microhyphema. This is a cloudy film that contains red blood cells in the anterior chamber.

The most common dental problem found in a pregnant woman is inflammation of gums or pregnancy gingivitis. Pregnancy tumors may develop on the gums, if these gums are left untreated. This will result in bleeding and swelling which can make speaking or eating painful. If these problems are neglected, it may lead to pregnancy complications such as preterm labor and miscarriages. Clove:This is an excellent home remedy for toothache during pregnancy as it acts as an effective painkiller. Crush one or two cloves in between the teeth and let the juices flow out in the mouth. Keep the cloves near the painful tooth. Within an hour, you will find that the pain has gone down to a great extent. Clove oil can also be used for the same purpose. The above remedies for toothache during pregnancy can help to at least reduce the pain, if not cure the problem. However, even though you now know what to take for toothache during pregnancy, it is not advised to continue with self treatment for a long time. Consulting a dentist as soon as possible is the recommended course of action. Also, during pregnancy, you should take special dental care to prevent infection of the gums and teeth. Use a fluoride toothpaste to brush your teeth daily and floss them once a day. Include lots of calcium, vitamin C and vitamin B12 in your pregnancy diet. These ingredients are good for dental health. Avoid those foods that have sugary content as they increase the plaque and tartar build up on the tooth.

The severity of a toothache can range from chronic, mild to sharp, and excruciating. The pain may worsen or get aggravated by eating and drinking hot and cold foods and beverage. The weather can also worsen the situation.

Dental cavity is the most common cause of toothache. Dental cavities are holes in the two outer layers of the tooth called the enamel and the dentin. The enamel is the outermost white hard surface and the dentin is the yellow layer just beneath the enamel. Certain bacteria in the mouth that convert simple sugars to acid causing dental cavities. When toothache occurs, avoid hot, cold or sweet drinks for this will help prevent pain from pulpitis.Chewing cloves or rubbing clove oil on the tooth is good for toothache.Mixture of crushed clove and peanut butter will provide relief. Apply this to the aching tooth and keep it in there for some time.Make a solution of salt and water and gargle.Turmeric sticks are good for toothache. Burn some turmeric sticks, make a fine powder, and use it as toothpowder.

Commonwealth Games 2010: In the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2010, Indian tennis player Sania Mirza went down fighting against Australia’s Anastasia Rodionova in the Woman’s Single Final.

Sania was awarded the Silver medal. Anastasia defeated Sania 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 (3) to win the singles gold.

Expectations were high from Sania, as it was being believed that the second seed Sania Mirza would be doing at the home ground.

In the mean time, India have managed to secure 24 Gold medals so far. Indian wrestler Narsingh Yadav won gold in 74kg freestyle event. He beat South African Richard Addinall.
