NIPER JEE 2011 Results

The Bharathiar University was established at Coimbatore by the Government of Tamilnadu in February, 1982 under the provision of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982). The Postgraduate Centre of the University of Madras, which was functioning in Coimbatore before 1982 formed the core of the Bharathiar University. Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand. It had a unitary and residential character in its nascent stage, but became an affiliating University in November 1978. Guru Nanak Dev University was established at Amritsar on November 24,1969 to mark the 500th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is both a residential and an affiliating university. Rajasthan Public Serce Commission has Published the Result of Sub. Insp.(Ex-Servicemen) Exam-2008.


Rajasthan Public Serce Commission has had a glorious past of nearly 50 years. During 1923, the Lee Commission had recommended setting up of a Central Public Service Commission in India, but it did not give much thought to the need of establishing similar commissions in provinces. It was left largely to the discretion of provincial Governments to recruit and exercise control over their Services, as they thought proper.

At the time of formation of Rajasthan, the institution of Public Service Commission existed in only three of the twenty-two covenanting states viz. Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner.

The successor administration after the merger of the princely states promulgated an ordinance on 16th August,1949 establishing the Rajasthan Public Service Commission Ajmer. It was published in Raj. Gazette at 20th August,1949 and it came into effect from this date. It provided for the abolition of the PSCs or other institution performing duties in the nature of those of a PSC in the constituent states. The ordinance also provided inter-alia, for the composition of the Commission, the staff and the functions of the Commission.

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) of the Government of India sanctioned over Rupees four crores under FIST (Fund for Improvement of Science and Technology) to the four Science Schools of the University to augment research facilities.

In addition to this, the Department of Science and Technology (DST) in the month of October 2003 accorded approval for setting up of a Super computing Facility at University of Hyderabad under FIST Programme with a total financial support of Rs.24.06 crores and released 1st installment of Rs. 8.058 crores. The period of the programme is for five years (2003-2008). Under this project 3 Nos. of IBM P690, 32 Power 4 + Processors each were installed in January 2004 and an IBM P595, 48 Power Processor was installed in January 2005. Besides this, 6 IBM Intelli-Workstations have also been installed.

Tripura University Has Published The Examination Results 2011.

Higher education in Tripura had a late start. Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) College, the first degree college in the State, started functioning under the University of Calcutta only in 1947. Not that there was no attempt in the past in Princely Tripura to establish any higher educational institution. As early as 1901, Radhakishore Manikya made an attempt to establish a degree college in the-then tiny capital town Agartala; but as the proposal did not fulfill the necessary requirements, it did not get approval from the Calcutta University. In 1937, Bir Bikramkishore Manikya, the last Maharaja of Tripura, had planned for establishing a college again at Agartala and an area of 254 acres of land, consisting of undulated tilla land having interposed lakes almost all around, in the eastern part of Agartala, was earmarked for that under the “Vidyapattan Scheme”. A committee under the name “Vidyapattan Governing Committee” consisting of 10 members with the Minister as its President was appointed by the Maharaja to carry out the scheme of higher education and a sum of Rs. 50,000 was placed at its disposal at the first instance. On 7 May, 1937, Maharaja Bir Bikram laid the foundation-stone of the college under the scheme. But with the outbreak of the Second World War (1939-45), the work of construction had to be abandoned. The vulnerability of Tripura became apparent after the fall of Burma to the Japanese in 1942.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India took a policy decision in 2002 to conduct an All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) annually, doing away with many of the large number of entrance examinations that were being conducted till then by various institutes in the country for admission to undergraduate degree programmes in the disciplines of Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture. The Nagland University was established by the Nagaland University Act, 1989 of the Parliament on 6th Sept. 1994. It is the only Central University in the State having three campuses, viz., Lumami Headquarters, Kohima and Medziphema. At present the University is functioning from its Kohima Campus as Interim Headquarters. Kannur University was established by the Act 22 of 1996 of Kerala Legislative Assembly. The University by the name “Malabar University” had come into existence even earlier by the promulgaton of an Ordinance by the Governor of Kerala, on 9th November 1995. The University was inaugurated on 2nd March 1996 by the Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala. The objective of the Kannur University Act 1996 is to establish in the state of Kerala a teaching, residential and affiliating University so as to provide for the development of higher education in Kasargod and Kannur revenue Districts and the Mananthavady Taluk of Wayanad District.

1.To participate in online counseling, it is mandatory for every candidate to register himself/herself on the counseling website i.e., http://www.psbte.gov.in
2.Candidates can register themselves from the premises of the Participating Institutions (PIs) as given on website without payment of any charges or from any internet point of their choice.
3.Candidate shall log on to www.psbte.gov.in where registration form shall be displayed on the screen with the following parameters mandatory for successful registration i.e., Roll No, OMR Application No, Candidate Name and Date of Birth.
4. If all the four parameters are valid and true, then a new registration screen will appear and Candidate may register himself/herself.
5.Candidate shall be required to fill in basic details, which shall be used for choice filling and seat allotment including the candidate “User ID” which is his/her Roll No. and “Password” as generated by the candidate.
6.After successful registration he/she will get a confirmation message on the same page. In case the confirmation message is not display the candidate has to register again.
7. Candidates are advised in their own interest to remember his Password and keep it highly confidential, to avoid misuse by another candidate, for which PSBTE shall not be responsible.
8. In case Candidate forgot his/her password then “Forgot Password” option will help to re-generate the forgotten Password using password hints.

COUNSELLING OF CANDIDATES
1.Candidates will be called for counselling in the order of their merit. Based on the merit and communal reservation,allotment of the branch/college chosen by the candidate will be made. Candidates have to opt for colleges and branches that are available at the time of counselling.
2. Candidates have to pay an initial deposit of Rs. 5000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) by Cash or DD and produce all their original certificates when they attend counselling.
3. In the G.O. (st) No. 85 Higher Education (J2) Department dated: 16.04.2010, the Government have ordered to grant tution fee concession to the candidates who are to be the first graduate in a family, those who are attending counselling and joined in professional courses in Government / Aided and Self-Financing Engineering Colleges. They have to submit the following:
(i) Certificate obtained from Head Quarters Deputy Tahsildar in the format prescribed in the G.O. which necessarily should include the applicants father, mother, father’s father, father’s mother, mother’s father,mother’s mother, brother and sister.
(ii) The candidates have to furnish a joint declaration by himself and parent/guardian in the prescribed format.
4.If a candidate has deposited all the certificates in an Institution where he/she has already been admitted, a letter from the Head of the Institution should be produced to that effect. In such case only, attested photocopies of
certificates from the Head of the Institution will be accepted for verification. However, the provisional allotment order will be withheld and it will be released only on production of all the original certificates.
5.Eligible candidates who have applied may appear for counselling according to their cut-off mark, two hours before the counselling session along with their original certificates for verification, irrespective of receipt of individual
communication.

The idea of establishing a University at Baroda had engaged the attention of the Government of the former State of Baroda and its educational advisers long before the question of regional universities and decentralisation, reorganisation and reconditioning of higher education to suit the cultural educational needs of particular areas had taken root in the country. The concept was first visualized by Dr. Jackson, when, as Principal of the Baroda College in the 1908, he advocated the establishment of a Science Institute at Baroda on an improved and independent basis. It was a consistent policy of the Government of Baroda to subject its educational system to periodical inquiries of a searching nature by educational experts of international fame, as a result of which the first Commission was appointed in 1909. The principal recommendation of that Commission was to expand the activities of the Baroda College by establishing additional chairs in new branches of knowledge. As a result of this policy of chalking out untrodden paths in higher education and thereby evolving a university atmosphere in Baroda, chairs of Comparative Region and Household Science were instituted. Prof. Widgery and Mrs. Strong were appointed to hold these chairs. In 1916, the educational policy of the State was again reviewed. As a part of this inquiry, one of the members of the Commission, Shri S.V.Mukerjea, prepared a minute of recommendations and in his note he definitely advocated the establishment of a University at Baroda.

North-Eastern Hill University was set up by an Act of Parliament and notified on 19th July 1973. The objectives of the University, as laid down in the act, are "to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-eastern region, and in particular, the intellectual, academic and cultural advancement".

The jurisdiction of the University extended originally to the states of Meghalaya and Nagaland and the erstwhile Union Territories of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. With the establishment of the Nagaland University on 6th September 1994, the jurisdiction of NEHU ceased over Nagaland. Likewise with the establishment of the Mizoram University the jurisdiction of NEHU over Mizoram also ceased from June, 2001. Arunachal Pradesh has its own university. However the North-Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology located in Arunachal Pradesh is affiliated to NEHU.

U.P. Act No.5 of 1982 as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature an Act to establish Secondary Education (Service Selection Boards) Act, 1982 for the selection of teachers in institutions recognised under the Intermediate Education Act, 1921.

Object and Reasons: The appointment of teachers in secondary institutions recognised by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education was governed by the Intermediate Education Act, 1921 and regulations made thereunder. It was felt that the selection of teachers under the provisions of the said Act and the regulations was some times not free and fair. Besides, the field of selection was also very much restricted. This adversely affected the availability of suitable teachers and the standard of education. It was therefore, considered necessary to constitute Secondary Education Service Commission at the State level, to select Principals, Lecturers, Head-masters and L.T. Grade teachers, and Secondary Education Selection Boards at the regional level, to select and make available suitable candidates for comparatively lower posts in C.T./J.T.C./B.T.C. Grade for such institutions.

The Public Petition dated 11-11-1839 initiated the establishment of Madras University. It was in January 1840 with Mr.George Norton as its President, that the University Board was constituted. The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly has passed an act, Act No.2 of 2008 called“Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007” to make special provision for regulation of admission in the professional technical education colleges or institutions in the State and fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and for matter connected therewith. As per the powers conferred to State Government, in Section 20(1) of the said Act, the Government of Gujarat, Education Department by way of a notification had constituted two different Committees called “Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)” and “Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC)” to regulate the admission of candidates to the professional degree and diploma courses respectively. The mission assigned to these Committees is to carry out the counseling process in a fair and transparent manner. The admission process is conducted by these Committees strictly on the basis of merit and the preference of the candidate. The functions of the Committee are as follows:

The Biju Patnaik University of Technology ( BPUT ), Orissa, with its head-quarters in Rourkela came into being in November 2002 through an act of the Government.
