Tamil Nadu Health & Family Welfare Department Has Published The M.Sc Medical Physics Merit List for the Year 2011-12 Session.

The Counselling for the M.Sc., Medical Physics candidates will be conducted on 24-06-2011 at 10:00 AM.

Kakatiya University is located in the historical City of Warangal in northern Telengana of Andhra Pradesh. The University has been named after the great Kakatiya Dynasty which ruled this region with Warangal as capital during the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. The benevolent Kakatiya rulers ensured political stability, economic prosperity, linguistic and cultural unity and bestowed artistic splendour and literary efflorescence on the kingdom they built. The term “Kakatiya” strikes an emotional chord in the hearts of the Telugu people.

The Establishment of Kakatiya University on August 19, 1976 signified the fulfillment of a long cherished aspiration of the people of Telangana. Emergence of this University was in fact a historic event in the sense that it heralded a new era in the realm of higher education catering to the needs of North Telangana.

The Government of Tamil Nadu established the Periyar University at Salem on 17th September 1997 as per the provisions of the Periyar University Act, 1997. The University covers the area comprising the districts of Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri. The University got the 12(B) and 2f status from the University Grants Commission and has been accredited by NAAC with B+ grade in 2007.

The University is named after the Great Social Reformer E.V.Ramasamy affectionally called "Thanthai Periyar". The University aims at developing knowledge in various fields to realize the maxim inscribed in the logo "Arival Vilayum Ulagu" (Wisdom Maketh World).

Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (PET) Held on May 12, 2011.

Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (PET) pattern as follows.

All the candidates from the general category will be selected in the merit list who get a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Math combined in the entrance examination. Similarly candidates from the reserved category will be selected in the merit list who get a minimum of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, Math combined in the entrance examination. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared according to the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, Math.

JNTU College of Engineering, Anatapur stands aloft on a solid foundation of past glory and prestige.
